25 is the main WA artist survey program in the festival.
This momentous and monumental exhibition explores visual practice in Perth over the last 25 years referencing key artists, contributors, exhibitions, artist-run spaces (ARIs) and galleries that have been linked to ARTRAGE programs.
The survey also shines a spotlight on the career trajectories of selected artists, some of whom are now based interstate and overseas.
Co-curators Andrew Gaynor and Marcus Canning, with their combined involvement in ARTRAGE dating back to 1988, bring what they describe as an ‘unashamedly personal’ curatorial eye to a survey that will utilise all of PICA’s exhibition spaces and expose a slice across the strata of WA’s own contemporary visual art scene over the last quarter of a century.
With most of the key programs across the festival happening around the Cultural Centre and Northbridge Precinct, SILVER ARTRAGE 25 is the recommended entry point to your SILVER ARTRAGE Festival journey.
SILVER ARTRAGE 25 has been logistically supported by the team at International Art Services.
