An abridged version of Nick Enright/Justin Monjo’s adaptation of Tim Winton’s best-selling novel. Cloudstreet tells the story of two families: the feckless Pickles and the assiduous Lambs as they share a large, haunted house in Cloud Street, Perth. Set in 1950’s post-World War II, Cloudstreet reflects the important social and political issues of the time and explores important themes of family, community and belonging as the families come to terms with their new lives.
