ARTRAGE received two grants for this funding round to go towards two exciting projects: Liberty Fringe and Open Air Live Theatre at Rooftop Theatre.
“The State Governments support has allowed us to provide not one, but two fantastic opportunities to bring new audiences into the CBD while importantly supporting local businesses and artists” Said ARTRAGE CEO Sharon Burgess
“At ARTRAGE we are passionate about bringing new and unique experiences to make our city a better place to live and play. We cannot wait to see these projects come to life and welcome Perth audiences in joining us”
Liberty Fringe will see the Liberty Theatre space transformed back to its golden years as ARTAGE presents an impressive program of comedy and theatre while activating the adjoining laneway space for an exciting hidden laneway bar experience.
Open Air Live Theatre at Rooftop Theatre will be the first project of its kind in Perth and will provide an exciting opportunity to attract new audiences to the CBD area.
The second round of the Perth CBD Revitalisation grants sees more than 1.2 million awarded to 18 applications to present events that will activate and revitalise Perth and Northbridge including festivals, art installations and performing arts events.
The third and final round of applications will be open from 1 February to 1 March for events to be held by 30 June 2023.
