Noel has held senior executive and advisory positions in the public and private sectors. Noel holds a Bachelor of Laws, Master of Industrial relations and Bachelor of Business degrees.

His work has included advising government Ministers and representing the State Government, private sector employers, and employees in matters before Federal and State tribunals and courts.

Noel also has extensive experience working in the NGO sector. One of his most rewarding positions was managing a refugee settlement agency in Mirrabooka at a time when Australia was responsible for settling refugees through the UNHCR from Syria and Iraq and other war-torn countries including Eritrea and South Sudan.

Rowan is a Director of Human Urban, a Perth-based property group delivering complex urban regeneration projects across Western Australia. He has a background in investment banking and business development, with experience spanning major development, infrastructure, and advisory projects. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UWA, an MBA from London Business School, and is a Chartered Accountant with a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance.

Carolyn Chard is Executive Director, West Australian Opera and has worked in senior leadership roles with Deckchair Theatre 1992-1994, Barking Gecko Theatre 1995-1999, Awesome Festival 1995-1999, Black Swan Theatre secondment 2000; West Australian Opera 2001-2005, Opera Australia 2005-2009, West Australian Opera (2010-current). She has a Bachelor of Arts, Arts Management (WAAPA 1990-1992) and studied fashion design (1986-1988). In the ‘80s she produced dance parties, wrote music reviews and a weekly club column and was a volunteer with Artrage.

In 2004 she undertook an Executive Program for Non-Profit Leaders (Arts) fellowship at Stanford University, California; was state finalist in Telstra Business Women of the Year awards 2010; state finalist in the WA Citizen of the Year Awards in 2014; was awarded a place in McKinsey’s inaugural ‘Remarkable Women Program’ in 2014.

She was awarded in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours List as member in the General Division (AM) of the Order of Australia for services to the arts and received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Western Australia in July 2023 entitling her as Hon. Dr Carolyn Chard AM BA(ArtsMgt) ECowan, HonDMus W.Aust

Following studies in Law, Chemistry and Extractive Metallurgy, Ezra Hefter has worked in scientific research and in the resources industry, before trading in the test tubes for the tax act as a partner at Ernst & Young where he has been for 18 years. He has worked with government and appeared before Senate Committees in relation to support for R&D and Innovation in Australia. When not talking tax, Ezra has a range of interests including the arts, old British cars, social justice issues, food, theatre, travel, and BBQ.

Zahra is the Chief People & Corporate Affairs Officer of TSA Group, Australia’s leading specialist in customer experience consultancy and services. She is an expert corporate communicator, focused on transforming the employee experience in the CX industry.

Sue is an experienced policy advisor and legal practitioner, with over 25 years working in the native title sector across Government, representative body and consulting roles. She holds a Bachelor of Laws, and brings a background of leadership, policy and governance experience to the Board.

Dean is a multi-award-winning artist and drag performer who has won Entertainer of the Year at the 2019 Proud Awards and has taken home the prestigious Best Cabaret and Variety Show twice at FRINGE WORLD 2022 and 2025. Dean’s music theatre credits include Killer Queen, We Will Rock You The Musical, Miss Understanding and Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical. In 2023, Dean achieved an extraordinary milestone – becoming the first Drag Queen to claim the coveted number 1 spot on iTunes Australia. This historic achievement was accomplished with a mesmerising cover of the disco classic "Celebration," showcasing Dean's unique ability to breathe new life into timeless hits and captivate audiences across Australia.

Noah Humich is building a diverse career working part time as a retail property manager, managing his family’s retail property assets, whilst also expanding his career as a classically trained tenor. Noah completed his Bachelor of Music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2022 and is currently studying a postgraduate Diploma of Property through Deakin University.

Elle Cate is an investment banking professional with significant experience in leadership and corporate advisory roles within boutique and large-scale financial institutions. Elle holds a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Western Australia and brings strong expertise in finance and strategy.

Jo Bennett is the Development Director at Fini Group, a private property development and investment company based in Perth, Western Australia. With more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, Jo is passionate about urban regeneration projects that leave a lasting positive impact and enrich the city’s social and cultural fabric. She has delivered a diverse portfolio of projects across major asset classes and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia, a Postgraduate in Property Investment from Curtin University, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Jo Thomas is an experienced arts leader and creative force. As CEO & Creative Director, Jo is excited to continue the ARTRAGE Vision of embedding arts in the hearts and minds of all West Australians and to drive projects and events that will surprise and delight.

Hailing most recently from Brisbane, Jo brings with her a prodigious career history as an Artistic Director, CEO, Churchill Fellow, Telstra Business Woman of the Year, and member of the Asian Producers Platform.

Jo was also a performer for many years, starting her career playing a leprechaun in year one!

Elliott provides support to the executive and board on financial matters. He has significant experience in the creative industries as an accountant and board member. A lifelong musician, he once wrote a piece for The West Australian about his experience in opening for Julio Iglesias.

Experienced in the Philanthropy, Sponsorship and Community Engagement, Georgia's role is to cultivate and manage fundraising across individual donors, gifts, grants, foundations and corporate sponsorship. Georgia is addicted to cheese and hopes to retire on a farm in France one day.

Tiffany is part of the Artrage Executive Team, overseeing the Programming, Ticketing and Marketing departments. Tiffany is a key contributor in shaping the strategic plan for the Fringe World Festival, with a focus on optimising the festival's execution to benefit both artists and audiences.

With over eight years with Artrage, Tiffany’s experience allows her to work collaboratively across Artrage teams, leading efficient project management, data-driven insights and fostering effective staff leadership. Tiffany is particularly passionate about introducing new audiences to the arts.

Before joining Artrage, she lived in London, where she managed large-scale fitness events throughout the UK.

Katie has over 15 years’ experience in the music, event and festival industry and has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of the creative process, coupled with a keen eye for operational efficiency.

As Head of Production and Operations, Katie is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of all activations at the helm of the Production, Operations, Technical and Project teams. Her leadership style is characterised by her unwavering commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Judita plays a key role in the Partnerships team, helping to nurture strong relationships and manage the delivery of partnership benefits across ARTRAGE-produced events. As a former film student from a landlocked country, she loves nothing more than catching a great movie in the cinema or spending sunny days at the beach.

Amilia works in the Development team supporting the implementation and delivery of philanthropic events, stewardship and key fundraising campaigns. She loves bringing out the tarot deck at a dinner party for a conversation starter.

Khazia’s diverse skillset guides campaign strategy and activation conception through to the execution of cross media communications, digital product delivery, brand creation and partnership activations. She leads her team collaboratively to craft end-to-end campaigns that achieve results. When Khazia was little she wanted to grow up to be a fire engine.

With nearly a decade of experience across the arts, hospitality and digital marketing, Anjali brings creativity and strategy together to craft campaigns, activations, and experiences. Outside of work, she’s most likely in a dance studio or catching a live show.

Ava's a creative marketer with a passion for understanding and connecting with audiences. Thanks to her film degree, Ava loves social media and content creation. She's also a self-confessed film nerd and dog lover... just ask her Cocker Spaniel, Obi Wan Kenobi.

Sophie’s background is in Graphic Design, with experience designing, creating and installing digital and print assets across a wide range of campaigns, including notable work with England Rugby in the UK. Away from the desk, you’ll likely find her on the dancefloor or turning an old surfboard into a wine rack.

Amongst producing 7 seasons of Rooftop Movies, introducing immersive cinema experiences, a roller-skating rink and live theatre along the way, Courtney is a creative force, leading deliveries of an exciting slate of projects including RE//PERTH and The Rocky Horror Picture Show Immersive Spectacular. When she is not scheming up crazy event ideas, Courtney can be found in the kitchen cooking up a storm.

Jasmin is the Artist & Audience Services Manager. She has a career spanning 15+ years in communications and more recently built House of Theodora, a platform that elevates female and non-binary artists pushing boundaries. She has also published three anthologies with writers from across the globe. Jasmin’s favourite FRINGE experience was seeing Bernie Dieter’s Little Death Club in 2020. She loved it so much she took Bernie out for a coffee and they talked for hours about how Bernie came to create the ultimate cabaret club.

Ariana is a creative programmer, producer, and artist with extensive experience in supporting the creation and realisation of live performance, including theatre, dance, and music. She is a receptive, adaptable producer and with a particular interest in contemporary and experimental performance.

Maddi coordinates Rooftop Movies and special events. An emerging producer with a degree in Arts Management, she likes building platforms for independent artists to thrive. Fun fact, she sang with Hugh Jackman in a choir at sixteen (he smelled nice).

Isabelle is an event producer with 8 years of multi-art form experience, including theatre, festival, film, and community development. Isabelle also writes for theatre. Her first script, written age 6; was "The Cat Burglar". Yes, it was about a cat that was a burglar.

Dan provides administrative support for FRINGE WORLD artists and venues, answering questions, coordinating updates, and ensuring everything runs smoothly for our participants. Fun fact: Dan used to make props and costumes. During a super-gory project, he forgot a scheduled rent inspection... It went terribly.

Angela supports FRINGE WORLD artists and venues, wrangling enquiries, comms and admin to make sure every participant hits the season ready to shine. Ange’s first Perth summer has included a quokka stealing her tennis ball. If you meet her, please recommend your must-do's!

A spirited attendant of FRINGE WORLD Festival since its inception, Jessica now applies her expertise to delivering ticketing solutions across all ARTRAGE Projects. She suspects her childhood pet pig Priscilla may have been letting her win at hide and seek.

Jaz leads phone, email and in-person customer support, delivering tailored experiences for FRINGE WORLD and Rooftop Movies, while coordinating Box Office recruitment, bump-in/out, and operations. Jaz travels for work and has moved cities 17 times in the last 5 years.

With a knack for wrangling systems and processes, Luke is ARTRAGE’s ticketing jack-of-all-trades. A former judge himself, Luke also helms the FRINGE WORLD Awards Program. Diehard Port fan, Luke once got roped into a full-gear photoshoot on the Fremantle café strip and, miraculously, wasn’t accosted.

Liz oversees Front of House Operations, for both staff and volunteers of FRINGE WORLD. She works to create a positive customer experience for all visiting FRINGE venues. Fun fact, Liz was a TV extra on the famous UK Soap, Eastenders.

If Tim's not counting cups, you can find him coordinating all things food & beverage for ARTRAGE! Fun fact about Tim, he can sing Happy Birthday in Polish. 

Etty is ARTRAGE’s Operations Coordinator, sporting colourful earrings while juggling documentation and events. A true site queen with spreadsheets, glitter pens, and world-travelled festival boots. She can run a festival site in her sleep but will still stop mid-radio call to point out a rainbow.

Kiki's across staff servicing, noise monitoring, and bringing good vibes to the operations teams. She was the captain of her university cheerleading team. 

Wrangling logistics, suppliers and stakeholders to keep festival sites moving, bringing calm problem-solving, collaborative energy and a hint of organised chaos to make it happen. Matt secretly enjoy solving last-minute problems, there’s a strange satisfaction in unexpected chaos that most people pretend they didn’t cause.

Kate coordinates ARTRAGE’s production logistics; overseeing schedules, trucks, and many many spreadsheets. Kate began her career in the arts onstage as a flautist and musical theatre performer, before making the transition to stage management and production coordination. If you pass Kate in the car, you are guaranteed to see her singing along.

Coordinate and liaises with Artists, Suppliers and Venues for ARTRAGE managed venues. When Jesse's not at work, you can find him making music and gaming!

Oscar has over 10 years experience working in the music and live events industry, occupying roles as a session musician, educator, engineer, booking agent, production manager, and producer. He has worked with major international touring artists and festivals both domestically and internationally, and is committed to supporting artists to make an impact. He brings a diverse skillset and sense of creativity to the role of Production Coordinator, alongside a recently discovered and profound level of extraverted-ness. Oscar's favourite Fringe memory is playing in the KAYE HOLE band during the 2025 season.

Amir is responsible for keeping ARTRAGE's IT operations and information systems running in tip-top condition. Amir once met Sir Patrick Stewart in the flesh and almost fainted 🖖.

Adam keeps the ARTRAGE IT running and helps with creative solutions to festival IT requirements. Adam went to 101 FRINGE WORLD Shows in 2020.

Alyssia first joined ARTRAGE in 2015 as a volunteer before officially joining the team as a Producer for four seasons. After a two-year adventure working in the video games industry, she returned to ARTRAGE as a Systems Analyst, combining sharp technical skills with a love of streamlining processes.

Matthew assists in getting the networks and POS systems festival-ready, while also lending a hand with some all-around office IT wizardry!

The resident coder here at ARTRAGE, helping to maintain the database and various other internal systems. They secretly wish they were a club kid in 90s NYC and can sometimes be found performing strange experimental music across Perth's venues.

Alexis drives people-first policies, boosts culture, streamlines processes, and makes HR feel human. From processes to engagement, she turns strategy into meaningful employee experiences. Alexis can stand on her head and recite the entire Shrek script - probably not simultaneously, but she's yet to be asked...

Verity is a strategic arts administrator with extensive experience in the arts and events industry. She excels in overseeing governance, compliance, and strategic planning, ensuring operational efficiency while preserving the organisation’s creative energy. Known for her proactive problem-solving and ability to navigate complex challenges, Verity brings a unique blend of skills from her diverse background from high-profile roles in Australia’s top music festivals to performing as a showgirl. Her leadership and organisational acumen drive integrity, enabling the team to thrive while upholding its mission and values.

Gigi keeps ARTRAGE HQ running smoothly by providing practical office, admin, and team support across day-to-day office operations. Fun fact about Gigi, she is related (by marriage) to Marilyn Monroe.

Katherine manages the day-to-day accounting and finance tasks of the business ranging from data entry to financial reporting. She completed an events management degree before completing her bachelor's degree. Katherine attended school in the music program for voice.

Veera oversees payroll at ARTRAGE while assisting with day-to-day accounting functions. Holding a degree in Arts Management, she is currently working towards CPA accreditation. With a background in Classical music, she once sang in a choir on TV with Guy Sebastian.
