Lady Macbeth Played Wing Defence presented by Crash Theatre Co., winner of the FRINGE WORLD Festival 2024 Martin Sims Award, have been on a hot streak - but they're not slowing down!
After a successful season at Adelaide Fringe, they've just added the prestigious House of Oz 2025 Purse Prize to their trophy cabinet!
This award secures recipients a place at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025 with the backing of House of Oz. In addition to the chance to perform at the world's largest fringe festival, this award also assists performers with promotional support, industry connections, and potential touring opportunities.
The Purse Prize is awarded by House of Oz to works that showcase originality, bold storytelling and exceptional artistry.
Crash Theatre Co. have already been smashing it in the last year, and we can't wait to see what they do next!
Five events were shortlisted for the award this year and two winners were selected - FLICK by Madelaine Nunn and Lady Macbeth Played Wing Defence by Crash Theatre Co.
Our favourite netball team is in great company, with previous Purse Prize winners including Gravity & Other Myths and Lewis Major.
